The City of Bellevue, OH has been using the CloseBy® Text Marketing program to reach out to the residents of their community since December of 2012! They have 707 residents on their text list which they use to communicate important information and promote community events. Before CloseBy® they primarily used emails, Facebook posts, and website posts to reach out to their community. With CloseBy® they can now reach out to their community within seconds when they need to share time sensitive information. Now that they have a quick and easy way to connect with their residents they have now eliminated a lot of calls that were coming into their main phone line they use for emergencies.
Hear from Vicki Meyers about the impact CloseBy® Text Marketing is having in their community:
“We have a lot of residents that will THANK US at meetings and when they come in our offices for having the program! They LOVE that the Cities Text Program gives them everything they need to feel more aware & involved in the community…they never miss events, road closures, etc! We can send texts IMMEDIATLEY from either our Cell Phones (as easy as texting a friend or loved one) or we can log onto the online system to send out a text right away or schedule the text for ANY future date! We also email our Account Manger messages as well so she can send them for us; we are a VERY SMALL town so we all wear a lot of hats and sometimes we need the extra help!”
